This session focus on developing an organized, effective strategy for IEP advocacy by starting at square one: gathering data, describing in detail how the child is currently doing in school, and centering the IEP meeting on a discussion of the Present Levels of Academic and Functional Performance section of the child’s IEP.

This session will explore the differences between procedural and substantive rights under IDEA.
